Delete account and data

This is a convenience translation. The German version is legally binding. German version of 30 July 2026.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time — directly in the app or, if you no longer have it installed, by email.

In the app

Settings → Account → Delete account (or Settings → Privacy). Deletion happens immediately. You can additionally remove data stored on your device by uninstalling the app.

Without the app installed

You do not need the app installed. Email us at service@travelmaster-go.app with the subject “Delete account”, from the address you registered with. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm the deletion by email.

What is deleted

Account and sign-in data, trips, diary entries, bookings, budgets, photos and documents, community contributions, points and badges — completely and irreversibly.

What is retained

Invoice data for purchases made, for as long as the tax retention periods run (§ 147 Abgabenordnung (AO, German Fiscal Code)), plus anonymised analytics that cannot be linked to you.

Important: subscriptions

Deleting your account does not end an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed via the Apple App Store or Google Play, and cancellation also takes place there — in the subscription settings of your app store account.
