Bookings by email

Forward it. Done.

Flight booked, hotel confirmed, train ticket in your inbox? Simply forward the confirmation to your personal TravelMaster address – the app recognises the flight, hotel & co. and files them in the right trip. No typing, no mailbox login, part of Premium.

How it works

Three steps to import.

1. Copy the address

In the app, open Profile → Email settings. Under "Forward booking emails" you'll find your personal address (it ends in @in.travelmaster-go.app). Tap "Copy address".

2. Forward the booking

In your email app, open the booking confirmation (e.g. from the airline or the hotel) and forward it – as the recipient, paste the TravelMaster address you copied. Send.

3. File it in the trip

The next time you open the app, TravelMaster suggests the detected booking and – if it's unambiguous – files it in the matching trip automatically. You confirm with a tap.

Why forward?

Your privacy stays with you.

No mailbox access

We do not log in to your email account or search through it. You decide message by message whether to forward it. Nothing happens automatically in the background.

Received in the EU

The forwarded email is received by a service provider with data centres in the EU, which does not store it there. To read it, the text and PDF attachments are sent to the AI service Anthropic (USA), safeguarded by standard contractual clauses; the AI features need to be switched on for this.

Only the result stays

Only the detected trip details are stored. The email itself, its attachments and the sender address are not stored permanently. Suggestions you haven't imported are deleted after 30 days.

All in one place

Collect booking confirmations instead of searching your inbox

Flight with the airline, hotel through a booking site, hire car from the rental company, train ticket as a PDF: for a single trip, five confirmations from five senders soon pile up. On the day you fly, you are scrolling through your inbox for the booking reference while the queue at the desk grows longer.

TravelMaster Go collects your travel documents in the trip they belong to. Email forwarding is just one of 13 ways to import: screenshots are read on the device, and there are also calendar files and the booking scanner for a photo or PDF, among others.

Three situations

How your travel documents get into the app.

Sunday evening: three confirmations, three senders

You have booked the city break – flight, hotel, hire car. Instead of typing it all in, you forward the three emails to your personal TravelMaster address. The next time you open the app, it suggests the recognised bookings and, where it is clear, assigns them to the right trip.

Forwarding is part of Premium and needs an account and the AI features switched on.

The hotel only sends a PDF

Some confirmations arrive as an attachment, some only as a screenshot from a booking app. The app reads the screenshot on the device; the PDF or a photo goes through the booking scanner. With a free account you get 5 scans a month, with Premium 30.

At the gate, no signal

The airport Wi-Fi wants you to register, the mobile signal is weak. No problem: your plan, documents and emergency numbers are on the device on every plan. You can keep IDs, bookings and insurance documents encrypted in the vault.

As soon as you are back online, the flight status shows gate, terminal and current times – free of charge.

Switching?

A TripIt alternative?

If you forward bookings by email, you may know the idea from TripIt: according to its provider, confirmations go to plans@tripit.com free of charge, while real-time flight alerts are part of TripIt Pro (as of 19 October 2026). In TravelMaster Go, forwarding is part of Premium, the flight status with gate, terminal and current times is free, and ongoing monitoring with an in-app notice when your flight is delayed comes with Premium.

On top of that comes everything around the bookings: day plan, a travel kitty for fellow travellers and a travel journal sit in the same app.

Common questions

Quick answers.

Is the address a real mailbox?

No. It's a forwarding-only address, just for you. You don't receive any emails there and don't need to check it – its only purpose is to hand your booking over to the app.

What is recognised?

Flights (including flight number, airports, times), hotels, rental cars, train and bus tickets. From the text and from PDF attachments.

Do I have to use this?

No, the feature is optional. You can still scan bookings from a photo/PDF or enter them by hand. Without forwarding, nothing is processed.

What about details of travel companions?

Forwarded confirmations can contain details about other people. Please only forward messages where that is fine with you. We use the details solely to create the booking.
